Horizon Forbidden West Launch

Together with our PlayStation community and selected partners, PlayStation Studios Guerrilla and Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) we have been planting Aloy’s Forests by supporting reforestation and biodiversity projects in local communities around the world.

The program is supported by Play4Forests, an UN Environment Programme and UN-REDD initiative as part of the Playing for the Planet Alliance. Players can see the call to action to participate in this blog post, including supporting the UN Play4Forests pledge.

For Arbor Day Foundation (US) - trees are will be planted for every player who achieves the “Reached the Daunt” trophy in the game.

For Forest and Bird (NZ) - street art across urban locations in Auckland, we will be encouraging social engagement by planting a tree per social share.

For MyTree (France) - we plan on one tree planted for every five “Reached the Daunt” trophies achieved by players who have opted-in for the activation.

With Stiftung “Wir helfen dem Wald” (Germany) - we will be tree planting for every trophy shared via #AloysWald on Twitter.

And for WWF-Canada - CAD$1 from each copy of Horizon Forbidden West sold in Canada will be donated to WWF-Canada’s coastal restoration work.
