Bold Donut is a sustainability engagement company founded in Ireland in 2022. Bold Donut's mission is to empower organisations to engage and educate their audiences on sustainability topics through playful, positive, and planet friendly games.
We develop fun casual games that have sustainability knowledge embedded into every aspect of the experience from the gameplay, to the rewards, and storylines.
Our current focus areas include:
- Working with utilities and electricity suppliers to engage people with sustainable energy topics such as demand flexibility (shifting the use of electricity to the greenest times)
- Working with companies, universities and governments to engage people with waste prevention and segregation topics such as the waste hierarchy and more simply, what goes in what bin!
Bold Donut will:
- Further develop green activations in all current games (our waste and energy games) as part of the core experience (permanent features)
- Commit to embedding green activations in all future games as part of the core experience (permanent features)
- Support the work of the Playing for the Planet Alliance by joining and contributing to the Storytelling Working Group
