IIDEA

IIDEA is the trade association representing the video game industry in Italy. Founded in the early 2000s, it brings together more than eighty members, including game developers, publishers, console manufacturers and esports operators.

The Association’s mission is to support the growth of the video game industry in Italy while highlighting the role of video games within the contemporary economy, society and culture.

As part of the Alliance, IIDEA will:

• Promote Playing for the Planet initiatives in Italy

• Integrate sustainability themes into key industry events

• Engage the Italian developer community through dedicated sessions and community activities

• Raise awareness through communication and outreach activities

• Engage with national institutions on environmental awareness through games

• Participate in the Alliance’s thematic working groups
